This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through Querylab.io. Payments for subscriptions are processed via Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription to Querylab.io, you agree to the terms below.

1. Payments

All subscription payments are securely processed by Stripe using the payment method provided at checkout.

Querylab.io does not store full payment card details.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

However, by purchasing and activating a subscription, you expressly agree that:

  • access to the digital service begins immediately after purchase, and
  • you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully or substantially used during the withdrawal period.

If no substantial use has occurred, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

3. Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • duplicate or incorrect charges
  • accidental purchases reported promptly
  • technical issues that prevent reasonable use of the service
  • cases required by applicable EU consumer protection laws

Refunds are not guaranteed outside of statutory rights.

If approved, refunds are processed via Stripe and returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.

4. How to Request a Refund

  • the approximate purchase date
  • a short description of the issue

5. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

After cancellation:

  • access remains available until the end of the current billing period
  • no further charges will be made
  • no partial-period (pro-rated) refunds are provided, unless required by law

6. Automatic Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

If a renewal charge occurs unintentionally, you may contact us to request a refund, which will be evaluated under this policy.

7. Limitations

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • extensive or full use of the service during the billing period
  • change of mind after prolonged use
  • partial billing periods
  • inability to use the service due to external factors (e.g. Google Cloud account limits, billing issues, or API restrictions)

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under EU law.
